Position Summary

The Performance Manager assists the Director with location leadership, development of the team and account management. This position is responsible for implementing FTS’s operational SOP blueprint for increasing our client’s service and sales results; which includes training and development of new and existing associates ensuring quality delivery and execution expectations are being met as well as being a consultative partner to each client within the territory. This role is accountable for building the proper work environment for our team following our companies core competency model.

Primary Responsibilities
• Take an active leadership and development role managing Performance Supervisors and Performance Associates at the client location and/or geographic territory
• Conduct daily transaction observations and coaching sessions with service based sales staff to develop required sales skill sets
• Maximize incremental sales through daily product training and sales development
• Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with rental car management to work together to achieve sales initiatives measured through KPI’s to include penetration and product up-selling
• Create and complete daily / weekly location achievements through proper forecasting and reporting
• Responsible for all location recruiting and hiring, staffing, performance management and team incentives supported by proper documentation and coaching plans
• Direct location contact for HQ who must hold self-accountable while carrying full Profit and Loss responsibility and fleeting requirements for the location
• Ensure SOP standards are implemented and measured to company standards 
• Required to work independently and autonomously at all times without direct supervision
• Organize, coordinate, and facilitate a wide variety of training programs designed to promote process consistency, sales growth and customer service excellence
• Maintain high levels of motivation, professionalism, skill-set-discipline and morale through coaching

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
• Bachelors Degree and/or equivalent education and work-related experience
• 5+ years in account management or retail management with inventory experience (Counting, recording and managing)
• Management experience required where individual had direct reports, managed schedules and performance of team members
• Previous car rental experience of managing a branch or location is strongly preferred
• Ability to exercise sound judgement and make prudent decisions in a quick and timely manner
• Excellent communication skills with ability to build rapport across organization with peers, managers, and customers, both written and verbal - Responsibility includes maintaining client relations at the top level for that location
• Strong team-oriented leadership skills with proven track record in team building and multiple account management
• Strong working knowledge of mobile devices, applications and computer systems to include Inventory Management / CRM System and Microsoft Office
• Maintain an open line of communication with Performance Director and executive leadership team, reporting work progress, goal achievements, challenges and concerns in a timely manner
• Able to stand, bend, twist, squat, kneel and climb step stools with or without reasonable accommodation on a daily basis
• Ability to work a flexible schedule - Including mornings, evenings, weekdays and weekends

• Must be able to lift up to 25lbs
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time, up to six hours maximum 
• Must be able to walk moderate distances (i.e. airport parking to rental counter or airport parking to terminal)
